Water Pump Harness/Diode-Bridge Assembly
The following procedure describes how to replace the water pu mp harness/diode
bridge assembly should it need replacing. Should the water pump need replacing,
instructions are provided on the previous page.
1. Remove the screw in the center of the electrical connector (diode-bridge)
on the top of the water pump.
2. Remove the connector (diode-bridge) fro m the top of the water pu mp.
3. Disconnect the water pump harness from the options circuit board
(connector is labeled as "AC OUT 2 – J25" on the options board).
4. Disconnect the water pump harness ground from the heat sink on the
control circuit board.
5. Remove the pump wiring harness/diode-bridge from the coffee maker.
Some of the clips securing the harnessing throughout the coffee maker
need to be opened to free the pump harness.
6. Route the new harness fro m the options circuit board to the pump making
sure to close the wiring clips to secure it in place.
7. Connect the water pump harness to the options circuit board (connector is
labeled as "AC OUT 2 – J25" on the options board).
8. Connect the water pump harness ground to the heat sink on the control
circuit board.
9. Reconnect the diode-bridge to the top of the pump, and secure it in place
with the screw.
