Cleaning the Milk Conveyor
12. Fill a clean spray bottle with a maxi mum of 2 ml (0.06 fl. oz) of SC
Johnson J-512 sanitizing solution per one liter (34 fl. o z) of water. If a
spray bottle is not available, mix the sanitizing solution in a clean leak-
proof container.
13. Rinse the auger with fresh running water, then spray (or wipe using a clean
cloth) the auger with sanitizing solution.
14. Rinse the conveyor with fresh running water, then spray (or wipe using a
clean cloth) the interior of the conveyor with sanitizing solution.
15. Set the auger and the conveyor aside until they are completely d ry.
16. Once the auger and conveyor are completel y dry, make certain the s mall
O-ring is installed at the bottom of the auger, and apply some food grade
lubricant to it (and the surrounding area).
17. Insert the auger into the conveyor, and re-install the coupling by turning
the coupling counter-clock wise. The coupling must be hand-tightened
only – do not use any tools to tighten it.
18. Install the four screws securing the motor to the bottom of the conveyor
using a Philips screwdriver.
19. Re-connect the wiring to the lower IR sensor boards (blue wires – they
must be routed behind the conveyor) and the power wires and ground wire
to the dispenser motor.
20. Install the conveyor assembly onto the base of the machine with four
screws.
21. Reconnect the wiring to the upper IR sensor boards (red wires – they must
be routed in front of the conveyor).
22. Insert the wiring harness into the clip on the right side of the conveyor, and
close the clip to secure the harness.
23. Re-install the vacuum cap onto the top of the conveyor.
24. Close the top cover, and re-install the two screws to secure it.
25. Close the water door.
26. Insert a milk canister and close the milk door.
27. Connect the service cord to the wall outlet.
28. The next t ime the mach ine is switched on, the conveyor will act ivate to
prime the system with milk.
NOTE:
When closing the cover, it may be necessary to press down slightly
on the left and right sides of the cover while tightening the screws, otherwi s e
the two doors may not close properl y .
