Troubleshooting
Error Messages
If an error message is present on the coffee maker, you can use the table below as a
reference to isolate and correct the problem.
NOTE:
The Espresso Café handheld programmer m ust be connected to
the coffee maker to view error messages.

ACTIONS REQUIRED TO RECTIFY ERROR
► Switch the coffee maker power OFF for 10 seconds,

and switch it ON again. The b rewer will cycle to
reset. If the error persists, check the b rewer
assemb ly (including motor and sensor b oard), wiring
and control b oard.
► The green START b utton is stuck in the pressed

position. Release the b utton if it is jammed. If the
error persists, check the START button circuit b oard.
► The reservoir is not filling - check the main water

supply, inlet valve, water tubing and control board.
► The empty milk canister must b e replaced with a

new one. If the error persists, check the lower
sensor b oards on the conveyor.
► Milk canister may not be installed properly.
► This error is caused b y either a faulty upper sensor

or a faulty dispenser motor. Replace the faulty
component.
► Close the milk door. If the error persists, check the

door sensor circuit b oard.
► Water overflow inside the coffee maker (base).

Remove the waste b in and clean the overflow using
a sponge or ab sorbent towel.
► The pod sensor on the b rewer has detected

something. A pod may b e jammed or the b rewer
sensor b oard is faulty and must b e replaced.
