In-Place Cleaning (continued)
15. The Espresso Cafe will now purge the remain ing sanitizing agent by
introducing fresh water into the system. The purging cycle dispenses
about 1.8 liters (60 fl. o z) of water.
16. When the green <
waste bin under the dispensing area, if applicable.
17. Press the green <
cleaning process.
18. The Espresso Cafe will now rinse the water system by introducing fresh
water into the system. The rinsing cycle dispenses about 1.8 liters (60 fl.
oz) of water.
19. Once the purging cycle stops, remove the cleaning tab and let the
mach ine sit for 30 minutes (do not use it during this period). During
these 30 minutes, perform the following:
a) Empty the waste bin under the dispensing area, if applicable.
b) Wipe any liquid spills that may have occurred during the cycle,
including any liquid that may have accumulated inside the
machine at the waste bin area.
c)
Fill a clean spray bottle with a maximum of 2 ml (0.06 fl. oz) of
SC Johnson J-512 sanitizing solution per one liter (34 fl. oz) of
water.
d) Lightly spray the solution to the exterior and to the dispensing
spouts of the Espresso Café. Do not wipe away the solution – let it
dry naturally.
e)
Remove the drip tray and grill and rinse both with warm water.
f)
Lightly spray the sanitizing solution onto the drip tray & grill,
and the waste bin and allow to dry (do not wipe away the
solution).
20. After 30 minutes have elapsed, re-install the drip tray and grill.
21. The sanitizing cycle is co mplete.
CAUTION:
not completed, you will be prompted to restart the cycle when the
machine is powered up (all 3 yellow LEDs w ill flash simultaneously).
