Replacing Major Components
Flow Meter
NOTE:
Open and inspect the inside of the flow meter before replacing or
discarding it. It may simply require a cleaning.
1. Disconnect the wiring harness connector on top of the flow meter.
2. Remove the two tubes connected to the front of the flow meter – one fro m
the water reservoir and the other to the water pump.
3. Lift the flow meter upwards until it snaps free fro m the base.
4. Insert the two tabs on the bottom of the flow meter into the two holes in the
base.
5. Press down on the flow meter until it seats into position.
6. Reconnect the two tubes to the flow meter – the tube fro m the water
reservoir on the bottom and the tube to the pump on the top.
7. Reconnect the wiring harness connector to the top of the flow meter.
NOTE:
force the connector onto the flow meter. If it is installed backwards,
the meter w ill be damaged and need to be replaced.
NOTE:
When any component of the water system is replaced, a quick-rinse
cycle must be performed to purge air out of the system.
