10.3.2
"Voltage-free piston rod extension
and reverse movement" special version
This version is a variant of the "voltage-free piston rod
extension" version. It is often desired with the "voltage-free
piston rod extension" version for the positioning unit that the
piston rod will also extend when there is a set point of 0%.
This prevents the piston from moving between the states
"set point = 0%" and "voltage off".
In addition to exchanging the jumpers, the solenoid valve control
also has to be exchanged in the "voltage-free piston rod
extension and reverse movement" special version.
The location of the jumper in the position controller for the
"voltage-free piston rod extension and reverse movement"
version corresponds to the location in the "voltage-free
piston rod retraction" version.
1. Exchange the solenoid valve control as follows:
– MV1 and MV3 with MV2 and MV4
– Y with Z
2. Exchange the "1" and "2" potentiometer connections on the
terminal strip as follows:
– 11 with 18 (housing version)
– d2 with z12 (19" assembly)
