Disassembling, exchanging, and disposing of the position controller
8.1.1

Disassembling the position controller

Make sure the positioning unit is not under pressure.
O
Make sure the positioning system is not under voltage.
O
Remove the electrical connections for the position
controller.
O
Remove the four M4 screws from the position controller in
the housing.
The position controller in the housing can now be removed.
O
Remove the 19" position controller assembly from the
19" unit.

Exchanging the position controller

O
Proceed as described under "Disassembling or exchanging
the position controller" on page 65 to disassemble the
position controller.
O
Assemble a new position controller as described in the
chapter "Attaching the position controller" on page 59.
8.2

Disposing of the position controller

Careless disposal of the position controller could lead to
pollution of the environment as the materials cannot be
recycled.
O
Therefore, dispose of the position controller in accordance
with the currently applicable regulations in your country.
