Synchronization
Synchronizing measured values and carrier frequency
Up to 20 PMX devices can be connected via the SYNC socket. One PMX
device is automatically declared the master.
Recommended cable: Standard Ethernet Cat−5−S/FTP. 1:1
This cable takes care of carrier frequency and time stamp synchronization.
30 m is the maximum line length between adjacent devices
Important
The SYNC connection is not used to supply voltage to the devices.
SYNC sockets are not the same as Ethernet. Do not connect with
Ethernet
Do not interconnect SYNC cables to make a ring.
