Grounding
on the bus coupler
To connect the bus coupler load supply:
1. If you do not use pre-assembled wiring, connect the
plugs according to Tab. 7/Tab. 8 on page 79.
2. Connect the bus coupler operating voltages using the
plug connector (see "Spare parts and accessories"
on page 97).
3. Check the operating voltage specifications using the
electrical characteristics and comply with them
(see chapter "Technical Data" on page 96).
4. Ensure that the maximum power can be supplied
according to Table 8, page 80.
Select the cable cross-section according to the cable
length and occurring currents.
6.3.6 FE connection

To discharge EMC interferences, connect the
FE connection (1) on the bus coupler via a low-
impedance line with the functional earth.
Recommended cable cross-section: 10 mm
