2.0 Trip unit
GENERAL INFORMATION
INTRODUCTION

Please ensure that the breaker is placed in
tripped position, that the operation indicator
shows OFF and that the mechanisms springs
are fully discharged.
The EntelliGuard Trip Unit is an electronic device
that interfaces with a circuit breaker. It monitors
the breaker phase currents, neutral current
and/or voltage and trips the breaker in the event
of an over-current or voltage related condition.
It also can provide protective relay functions,
advanced metering, diagnostic features, and
communications. The Trip Unit can be removed
or replaced in the field by de-energizing and
removing the cover of the circuit breaker.
The Trip Unit also connects with the circuit
breaker flux shifter to provide the
electromechanical tripping function.
A user interface is provided on the front panel to
allow adjustment of the Trip Unit's parameters.

2.0 Unité de protection
INFORMATIONS GÉNÉRALES
INTRODUCTION
Veuillez vous assurer que le disjoncteur est
placé en position « déclenché », que l'indicateur
montre le statut OFF et que les ressorts des
mécanismes sont complètement désarmés.
L'unité de protection EntelliGuard est un appareil
électronique qui fait interface avec le
disjoncteur. Elle contrôle les courants de phase
du disjoncteur, le courant et/ou la tension de
neutre, et déclenche le disjoncteur en cas de
surintensité ou de surtension.
Elle peut également remplir des fonctions de
relais, de mesure avancée, de diagnostic et de
communication. L'unité de protection peut être
enlevée ou replacée sur site en désactivant et en
démontant le capot du disjoncteur.
L'unité de protection est également connectée à
l'échangeur de flux du disjoncteur pour habiliter
la fonction de déclenchement
électromagnétique.
Sur le panneau frontal, une interface utilisateur
permet d'ajuster les paramètres de l'unité de
protection.

2.0 Beveiligingsunit
ALGEMENE INFORMATIE
INLEIDING
Zorg ervoor dat de vermogenschakelaar zich in
de uitgeschakelde positie bevindt, dat de
werkingsindicator UIT aangeeft en dat de
mechanismeveer volledig niet-gespannen is.
De EntelliGuard beveiligingsunit is een
elektronisch toestel dat met een
vermogenschakelaar ingereden wordt. Het
controleert de fasestroomwaarden,
neutraalstroom en/of voltage van de
vermogenschakelaar en schakelt deze uit in
geval van een overstroom of te hoog voltage.
Het kan ook veiligheidsrelaisfuncties bieden,
alsook geavanceerde meetfuncties,
diagnosefuncties en communicatie. De
Beveiligingsunit kan ter plaatse vervangen of
verwijderd worden door deze uit te schakelen en
de cover van de vermogenschakelaar te
verwijderen.
De Beveiligingsunit is ook ingereden met de
fluxshifter voor een elektromechanische
uitschakel(trip)functie.
Er bevindt zich een gebruikersinterface op de
voorzijde voor de aanpassing van de
parameters van de Beveiligingsunit.
