devices (Restricted or Unrestricted) are detected.
As the intention here is to use a standby device
as a backup option care should be taken to
assure that the 'standby' devices is set to
operate selectively. In the GT-H Electronic Trip
Unit both the GF sum and GFct options must be
'ON'.
In all cases where the GFct option is used an
interposing CT mounted with the breaker and
supplied with the earthleg CT is needed.
The GT-H device can be interlinked to the
'standby' device and work with the associated
EntelliGuard Breaker. The GT-H can be
configured to receive a trip input from the
standby device and/or provide a signal to trip
the 'standby' device located upstream.
2.2.4 ZONE SELECT INTERLOCK (ZSI)
The GT-S, GT-N & GT-H type Trip Units can
optionally be equipped with a system that allows
full selectivity independent of the chosen
breaker settings. (ZSI)
Zone-selective interlocking coordinates
breakers so that the downstream breaker is
allowed the first opportunity to clear a fault or
overload event. ZSI interlocks & coordinates
reactions to a fault on the short-time (ST),
instantaneous (I), and ground faults (GF)
devices.

INTRO BREAKER
TRIP UNIT
Les défauts de terre en amont et en aval de
l'appareil sont détectés. Comme l'intention est ici
d'utiliser un dispositif de réserve comme option
de relève, il est nécessaire de s'assurer que
l'appareil est paramétré pour fonctionner de
façon sélective.. Dans l'unité de protection GT-H
les options GFsum et GFct doivent être activées
toutes les deux.
Lorsque l'option GFct est utilisée, un
transformateur d'isolement monté dans le
disjoncteur et fourni avec le transformateur de
liaison à la terre est nécessaire.
L'unité de protection GT-H peut être reliée à
l'appareil de relève et fonctionner en relation
avec le disjoncteur EntelliGuard correspondant.
La GT-H peut être configurée pour recevoir une
entrée qui déclenche en provenance de
l'appareil de relève et/ou générer un signal pour
déclencher l'appareil de relève installé en
amont.
2.2.4 Interverrouillage séléctif par zone
(ZSI = ISZ) Les unités de protection de type GT-
S, GT-N et GT-H peuvent en option être équipées
d'un système qui permet une sélectivité totale
indépendante des réglages du disjoncteur.
L'interverrouillage sélectif par zone coordonne
les disjoncteurs afin que le disjoncteur en aval
soit le premier à éliminer un défaut ou une
surcharge. L'ISZ interverrouille et coordonne les
réactions à un défaut pour les protections «

LOCKS ACCESSORIES
Aardfouten upstream of downstream van de
breaker (restricted of unrestricted) worden
gedetecteerd. Wanneerd het de intentie is deze
in te zetten als stand by beveiliging, back up
dient er gelet te worden dat de standby optie is
ingesteld op operate selectively. In de GT-H unit
beide opties Gfsum en GFct dienen "ON" te zijn.
In alle gevallen wanneer de GFct optie wordt
gebruikt dient een interposing ct geplaatst te zijn
in de breaker en uitgevoerd met een aardfout ct.
De GT-H kan gelinked worden aan de "standby"
optie en in combinatie met de breaker werken.
De GT-H kan ingesteld worden om een trip-
signaal te ontvangen van het standby apparaat
en/of een tripsignaal sturen naar het apparaat
upstream.
2.2.4 ZONE SELECT INTERLOCK (ZSI)
De GT-S, GT-N & GT-H trip units kunnen
optioneel uiotgevoerd met een optie welke
volledige selectiviteit toestaat onafhankelijk van
de schakelaarinstellingen. (ZSI)
Zoneselectieve vergrendeling bestuurt
vermogenschakelaars zodat de downstream-
vermogenschakelaar de eerste mogelijkkheid
krijgt om een storing of overspanning op te
lossen. ZSI vergrendelit & bestuurt reacties bij
storingen van de (ST), instantaneous (I), en
aardingsfout (GF) functies.
