21.3 - RAMP CLEANING
An accurate, regular cleaning helps
keeping the ramp efficient.
The washing frequency depends on the
ramp frequency of use.
Detergents.
For cleaning you should use only de-
tergents with neutral pH to prevent the
oxidation of the treated parts (painted,
galvanised, etc.).
When choosing the detergents, go for
eco-friendly products.
Some detergents might damage your
skin. Inform yourself on the substance
you are using and protect yourself before
starting the cleaning operations.
Material for cleaning
If you are using a pressure washing
system, always keep a safe distance
between the nozzle and the object you
want to clean, otherwise the water might
damage the object due to the high pres-
sure.
Be careful not to wet labels, pins, and
bushings when using high pressure
washing systems.
Consequently, make sure that:
- The lubricant is not removed from the
pins, hinges, and bushings.
- The adhesive labels do not fall off due
to excessive steam or steam applied
on their side.
- The painted parts are not deteriorated
due to excessive pressure or tempera-
ture of the water.
When using high-pressure wash-
ing systems, the water (cleaning
substance) should not exceed 60°C
(140°F).

21.3 - PULIZIA DELLA RAMPA
Un'accurata e regolare pulizia aiuta a
mantenere efficiente la rampa.
La frequenza del lavaggio dipende dalla
frequenza dell'utilizzo della rampa.
Prodotti detergenti.
Per la pulizia si consiglia di usare esclu-
sivamente sostanze detergenti a pH neu-
tro per evitare l'ossidazione delle parti
trattate (verniciatura, zincatura, ecc).
Nella scelta dei prodotti detergenti utiliz-
zare prodotti non nocivi per l'ambiente.
Alcune sostanze detergenti sono danno-
se per la pelle. Informarsi circa la sostan-
za in uso e proteggersi adeguatamente
prima di iniziare le operazioni di pulizia.
Materiale per la pulizia.
Qualora si utilizzi un sistema di lavaggio
ad alta pressione mantenere sempre
una distanza sufficiente tra l'ugello e la
parte da pulire, diversamente possono
verificarsi dei danni dovuti all'impiego di
acqua ad alta pressione.
Fare attenzione a non bagnare etichette,
perni, boccole durante l'uso di sistemi di
lavaggio ad alta pressione.
Di conseguenza accertarsi che:
- Il lubrificante non venga asportato da
perni, cerniere e boccole.
- Le etichette adesive non si stacchino
a causa di una vaporizzazione troppo
lunga o effettuata lateralmente.
- Le parti in verniciate non vengano dan-
neggiate da una temperatura o da una
pressione dell'acqua troppo elevate.
Quando si utilizzano sistemi di lavag-
gio
ad alta pressione, l'acqua (so-
stanza detergente) non deve superare
la temperatura di 60°C (140°F).
