Mounting the ASL with the chain drive system V80
The chain drive system V80 is mounted according to the MIKO door drawings. For adjusting the dead center lock
position, see separate "Adjusting instructions chain drive system V80" (for the ASL drive unit no limit stop switches
are required).
2.5.1

Determining the assembly position

The ASL drive unit (21) is in a position to motorize the chain drive system V80 on both extremities via the double pinion.
Installation examples:

- Mark the assembly position of the Halfen frame.
- Mark the vertical Y-axis on the respective wall. The distance C between the axis of the double pinion of the chain
drive system and the center of the Halfen frame (13) should be as short as possible (max. 2 m).
- Mark the horizontal X-axis on the wall, measuring from the upper surface of the V80 aluminium profile (72).
- Mark the dowel holes and drill them 65 mm deep, using a ø12 drill. Fig. 28
