Shut-down / disposal of the installation

5.1

Shut-down

If the drive unit is not going to be used for several months, it is recommended to switch the main installation switch
off.
5.2

Taking the installation back into operation

Before the main installation switch is switched back on and the drive unit is activated, the door must be checked and
the door area respectively the bottom rail cleaned. In order to check the free running movement of the door, release
the brake on the drive unit and - if installed - unlock the locking mechanism. Then move the door back and forth on
its entire travelling distance. Engage the brake and the locking mechanism, switch the main installation switch on
and check if the drive unit and the safety elements function correctly.
5.3

Disposal of the installation

Dismantle the drive unit and the accessories and separate the individual materials so that they can be recycled. No
particular measures have to be taken with regard to environmental protection.
