2.1
Voraussetzungen
• Die Leichtgängigkeit des Tores muss gewährleistet sein. Ge-
gebenenfalls alle beweglichen Teile schmieren, bzw. von ei-
nem Fachmann instandstellen lassen.
• Das Tor muss über die vorhandenen Federn ausbalanciert sein.
• Platzbedarf zwischen Toroberkante und Garagendecke beträgt
mind. 45 mm.
• Garagendecke muss stabil sein, gegebenenfalls zusätzliche
Unterkonstruktion anbringen lassen. Die stabilste Montage-
variante des doorboy DBP ist die Decken/Sturzmontage
gemäss Massblatt T 4.3.20 im Anhang. Bei Objekten mit zu
schwacher Sturzkonstruktion ist es möglich, den DBP nur ge-
gen die Decke zu montieren. Hierzu ist jedoch zusätzliches
Befestigungsmaterial nötig.
• Mechanische Torverriegelung ausser Betrieb setzen: Riegel
entfernen.
• Anschlusssteckdose von autorisiertem Fachmann installiert.
2.2
Massermittlung
Der Türgriff (1) sitzt nicht bei allen Tortypen in der Tormitte, daher
ist eine Mittenfestlegung notwendig:
1. Genaue Tormitte ermitteln und Markierung an Tor (2) und
Sturz (3) anzeichnen.
2. Tor öffnen und Mittenmarkierung auf die Decke übertragen.
3. Tor soweit schliessen bis dieses seinen Höchstpunkt (Tor-
oberkante) erreicht hat.
4. Diesen Wert auf den Sturz übertragen (entspricht dem nied-
rigsten Punkt der Antriebsschiene).
5. Den auf dem Sturz markierten Punkt um 15...50 mm nach
oben verschieben. Der neu markierte Punkt (= Führungs-
profil-Befestigung) muss einen Mindestabstand von 25 mm
zur Decke aufweisen.
Achtung:
Der Mindestabstand zwischen dem höchsten Tor-
bewegungspunkt und der Garagendecke darf
45 mm nicht unterschreiten!

2.1
Preliminary conditions
• The door must be able to move smoothly and without
encountering any resistance. If required grease all the moving
parts resp. have them repaired by a specialist.
• The door must be counterbalanced by means of the existing
springs.
• Space requirement between upper door edge and garage
ceiling: at least 45 mm.
• The garage ceiling must be rigid; if necessary it has to be
stiffened by means of an additional sub-construction. The most
advantageous installation version for the doorboy DBP with
regard to stability is against the ceiling/lintel, according to the
enclosed application drawing T 4.3.20. In the event of garages
whose lintel construction is too weak, the DBP can be fastened
only onto the ceiling. For this purpose, however, additional
fastening material is required.
• Putting the mechanical locking of the door out of operation:
Remove the locking bolt.
• A plug socket has been installed by the authorized specialist.
2.2
Determination of measures
For some door types, the door handle (1) may not be located at the
center; it is therefore necessary to determine the center:
1. Determine the exact door center and mark this point on the
door (2) and on the lintel (3).
2. Open the door and report the center mark to the ceiling.
3. Close the door until the upper edge of the latter has reached
its highest point.
4. Report this value to the lintel (corresponds to the lowest point
of the drive rail).
5. The point marked on the lintel must be shifted upward by
15...50 mm. There must be a minimum distance of 25 mm
between the new point (= guide profile fastening) and the
ceiling.
Attention:
The minimum distance between the highest point
of the moving door leaf and the garage ceiling must
not be shorter than 45 mm!
