Flexible power supply system

For the power supply to the EMS safety edging, linear flexible power supply systems with or without aluminium
profile as well as suspended cables are available. The installation must be individually adapted to the respective
door situation. The installation measures are shown on the separate catalogue sheet T 20.1.3.
An energy chain can be installed in the aluminium profile for the V60 chain drive system.

Cabling the drive unit and the accessories

Switch off and lock the main installation switch installed by customers
- Pull in the mains power line and the supply lines of all the existing control and safety elements via the feed
pipes up to the control unit and connect them according to the diagram on the cover of the control unit.
2.8

Final work

- Open and close the door by hand while checking if all the elements function without impeding one another.
- Check the stop piece for the OPEN position.
- The diagrams are inserted in the document pouch provided in the hood.
- After terminating the commissioning (chapter 3) mount the drive unit hood.

Commissioning

3.1

Initial requirements / checking

- All the components, options, safety and control elements have been mounted and cabled.
- Bridge connections have been made according to the diagrams at places where elements are missing.
- When the brake is released, or after the door driver V60 / V80 has been uncoupled, the door can be evenly moved
on the entire travelling distance, without encountering any major resistance. After the test, appply the brake again.
- The door is equiped with a stop piece for the OPEN position. The belt drive system R20 requires an additional
stop piece for the CLOSED position.
- Checking the motor and the transformer connections:

- The locking option (if provided) must be correctly adjusted and connected to the control of the ASL-S. Depending
on the locking mechanism, energize the terminals 25 and 26 with either 24 V or 230 V.
