3. Chain drive system V80
The horizontal chain drive system with aluminium guideway (22) is mainly used for motorizing single- and double-
winged slide and fold wing doors with the MIKO fittings. It consists of the following elements:
- Chain drive system with sliding carriage (23) sub-assembled
- MIKO door driver (28) which can be uncoupled
- Chain pinion (26) with spacer block (27).

Delivery condition

1.4.1

ASL drive unit

The ASL drive unit leaves the factory with all the desired options (such as remote radio control, brake release, etc.)
already installed and cabled.
The UTAS-.. transmission system as well as the further accessories are supplied in a separate package. They are
assembled upon installation at the building site.
1.4.2

Options

The following options are available in order to complete the installation:
- Radio control 7000-ASL (cable 6 m)
- Radio control 7000-ASL (cable 15 m)
- Flex. power supply system GKA (up to 4,5 / 7,2 / 10,8 m)
- BEFSET-I (Halfen frame)
- Additional control modules
- Brake release with remote control
- Brake release on the drive unit (with cylinder) for R20
- Control and safety elements
1.5 Transportation / storage
The basic ASL unit and the transmission systems UTAS-.. are packed into cardboard boxes. The aluminium profiles
which are part of the accessories and of the options are added as bar material (max. length = 6 m). All the packing
units can be handled by the conventional lifting and transporting devices.
