Mounting the GU locking mechanism (optional)

- Move the door to the CLOSED position and block the brake on the drive unit (21).
- Determine the position and the fastening method of the locking mechanism (48) (Assembly examples see
application drawings T 20.90.3 and T 20.90.4).

- Screw the fixing angle (49) for the locking mechanism(48) against the wall resp. the ceiling and mount the locking
mechanism (48) onto the fixing angle.
- Determine the position and fasten the locking latch (50) on the door.
Note:
If the fastening threads for the locking latch (50) have already been made in the door, the
locking mechanism (48) must be aligned with regard to the locking latch (50).
- Release the brake on the drive unit (21), unlock the locking mechanism (48) by means of the manual unlocking
mechanism.
- Open the door by approx. 0,5 m. Shift the locking mechanism(48) back to the operating position, close the door
and check if the locking mechanism (48) latches in.
Note:
In the CLOSED position it must be possible to move the door by approx. 2 to 5 mm between
the CLOSED stop and the locking latch (50). Fig. 17
Detail B
- Mount the optional remote unlocking mechanism (if existing) and connect it to the locking mechanism (48).
