CRANKCASE
25. Install:
• Crankcase bolts
NOTE:
• Lubricate the bolt threads with engine oil.
• Tighten the bolts in the order of the embossed
numbers on the crankcase.
Crankcase bolt:
Bolt 1:
1st: 15 Nm (1.5 m · kg, 11 ft · lb)
2nd: 15 Nm (1.5 m · kg, 11 ft · lb)
Final: Specified angle 65° ~ 70°
Bolt 2, 3:
24 Nm (2.4 m · kg, 17 ft · lb)
Bolt 4 ~ 7:
12 Nm (1.2 m · kg, 8.7 ft · lb)
M9 × 105 mm bolts: 1
M8 × 70 mm bolts: 2
M8 × 55 mm bolt: 3
M6 × 55 mm bolts: 4
M6 × 80 mm bolts: 5
M6 × 80 mm bolt: 6 (with LOCTITE
M6 × 52 mm bolt: 7
26. Install:
• Primary sheave drive shaft assembly bolts
Primary sheave drive shaft assembly
bolts:
12 Nm (1.2 m · kg, 8.7 ft · lb)
27. Install:
• Engine mounting bracket 1
• Engine mounting bracket bolts
NOTE:
When installing the engine mounting brackets,
make sure that the number on each side of the
upper crankcase is aligned with the identical num-
ber on the brackets.
Engine mounting bracket bolts:
25 Nm (2.5 m · kg, 18 ft · lb)
