Prima di procedere, lasciar raffredda-
re il motore e l'impianto di scarico
sino a| raggiungimento della temperatura
ambiente, al fine di evitare possibili scottature.
• Posiziona lo scooter sul cavalletto.
• Smonta l'impianto di scarico rimuovendo in succes-

sione le due viti (1) che collegano la marmitta al cilindro
e infine le due viti (2) di fissaggio al carter motore.
• Rimuovi rimpianto di scarico (3).
Nel rimontare l'impianto di scarico,
sostituisci la guarnizione con una
nuova.
Serra le viti di fissaggio marmitta al
cilindro e al carter motore, verificando
con una chiave dinamometrica che il valore
di serraggio sia corretto (vedi TABELLA COPPIE DI
SERRAGGIO).

Before proceeding with disassembly,
let the engine and exhaust system cool
down to the ambient temperature to avoid
possible burns.
• Put the vehicle on its stand.
• Disassemble the exhaust system by removing in
sequence the two screws (1) fixing the silencer to the
cylinder and then the two (2) engine crankcase fixing
screws.
• Remove the exhaust system (3).
On refitting the exhaust system, renew
the gasket.
Tighten the screws fixing the silencer
to the cylinder and to the engine crankcase.
Check the tightening torque value by means
of a torque wrench (see TIGHTENING TORQUES
TABLE).
