Prima di effettuare la ricarica, controlla che il livello del
liquido elettrolitico sia corretto e ripristina se necessario.
• Rimuovi tutti i tappi.
• Collega la batteria ad un caricabatterie: la migliore
ricarica si effettua utilizzando un amperaggio pari ad
1/10 della capacità della batteria stessa.
• Al termine della ricarica, ricontrolla che il livello del
liquido elettrolitico sia corretto.
Quando lo scooter rimane inattivo per un lungo
periodo, rimuovi la batteria e sistemala in un luogo
fresco e asciutto. Controlla la carica almeno una volta
al mese per evitare il degrado della batteria.
Durante la ricarica o l'uso, provvedere
a un'adeguata ventilazione del locale ed
evitare l'inalazione dei gas emessi durante la
ricarica della stessa. Rimontare la batteria soltanto dopo
5/10 minuti dal disinserimento dell'apparecchio di carica,
in quanto la batteria continua a produrre del gas per un
breve periodo di tempo.
Nel reinstallare la batteria sullo scooter,
collega sempre il tubetto di sfiato
della batteria per evitare che i vapori di
acido solforico, fuoriuscendo, corrodano i particolari
in gomma e in plastica e l'impianto elettrico.

Before recharging the battery, check the electrolyte level.
Top up if necessary.
• Remove all the caps.
• Connect the battery to a battery charger: optimum
recharging is achieved with amperage equal to 1/10
of the battery capacity.
• After recharging, check the electrolyte tevel again. When
the vehicle is to remain inactive for a long period, remove
the battery and place it in a cool and dry place. Check the
charge at least once a month to prevent the battery from
deteriorating.
During recharging, make sure the area
is adequately ventilated and avoid
inhaling the fumes from the battery. Reinstall
the battery 5-10 minutes after the charger has been
switched off. This precaution is necessary because the
battery continues to produce gas for a short time.
On reassembling the battery to the
scooter, alway connect the breather
pipe of the battery to prevent the sulphuric
acid vapors from corroding the rubber and plastic parts
and the electrical system.
