139. Retrieve the cable inside the fuselage near the rudder servo.
140. From the cables inside the fuselage, slide a sleeve on the
cable.
141. Pass the cable through the hole in the cable itting, then
through the sleeve. Use crimping pliers to secure the sleeve
to the cable. Attach both rudder cables to the ittings.
142. Attach the rudder servo arm to the rudder servo using the
hardware included with the servo. The radio system should be
on and the rudder servo centered for the following steps.
143. Attach the ball end to the rudder control horn using two M3
x 15 socket head cap screws, two M3 washers and an M3
locknut. Tighten the hardware using a 2.5mm hex wrench
and 5.5mm nut driver. Install both remaining rod ends.
Î Do not over-tighten the hardware and
damage the control horn or ball end.

Î Install both sides of the cable at the same time.
This will result in equal tension on both cables.
144. Slide a sleeve on the cable, slide the cable through the itting,
then back through the sleeve. Lightly tension the cables, then
use crimping pliers to secure the sleeve to the cables. Use
side cutters to remove any excess cable.
Î The rudder cables may stretch slightly
over time. Periodically check the cables to make
sure there is still light tension on them.
Î Remember to turn the radio system off at this time.

145. Thread a ball end eight turns on the 37

elevator pushrod.
146. When attaching the linkage to the servo arm, use the hole in
the arm that is 5/8-inch (16mm) from the center of the arm.
Enlarge this hole using a pin vise and 1/8-inch (3mm) drill bit.
147. Attach the ball end to the servo arm using an M3 x 12 socket
head cap screw, M3 lock nut and M3 washer. Tighten the
hardware using a 2.5mm hex wrench and 5.5mm nut driver.
