INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
While doing this the Spar should be supported at the handle with the other
hand to take up the weight of leg & Spar and facilitate disengagement of the
Flexion/Extension lock. Once unlocked, the spar may be raised or lowered (Fig
17C) to achieve hip flexion.
Relock the joint once the Spar is in the preferred position.
Internal and External Rotation:
Internal or external rotation of the leg may be achieved intra-operatively by
loosening the knob on the distal end of the
attachment key (Fig 18A). Once this knob is loosened, the Boot may be
rotated internally or externally (Fig 18B) or adjusted angularly (Fig 18C).
