Measuring an OTDR link

3 Click on Submit to validate.
The list of available tests for the selected links is displayed.
4 Select which Test you wish to perform (as seen in
page 69).

5 Click on Start to perform the test
6 Once the test is completed, the trace is displayed.

The status Available is displayed in the Configuration box.
If the test or measurement has not been completed successfully, the
status Failed is displayed and no trace is visible.
1 Select from the list, the link to measure.
2 Click on the Test tab and check Measurement.
3 Click on Submit to validate.
The Measurement configuration page is displayed.
4 Configure the Measurement parameters (as seen in
page 70):
– Auto configuration: all parameters are automatically configured by
the OTU-8000.
