Description and use of the Relay option

When the OTU-8000 is:
Off
Normal Conditions
System alarm
One Minor Alarm
One Major alarm
One Minor AND one Major optical alarm
In case two OTDRs are used, the Launch Fiber Module is composed of
2 launch fibers (one on the left, one on the right) and offers 4 ends.
These ends are labeled L1 (left 1), L2 (Left 2), R1 (Right 1) and R2
(Right 2).
Make sure you use matching ends for each couple OTDR - OTAU/OSU-
9600 (For example, use L1 and L2).
NOTE
You may connect either end of the same launch fiber to the OTDR.
There are 3 relays, corresponding respectively to Unit alarm, major
optical alarm and minor optical alarm.
