the OSU/OSX Setup.

Switch
2 Select one of the following configurations:
– Multiplexed mode (Internal OTAU = Multiplexer): when an
Internal Switch (OTAU) is used. See
page 48 and "OSX8000 in cascade mode" on page
– External Switch: when no Internal Switch (OTAU) is used. In this
case, the OTDR is directly connected to the Comon port of the
OSU-9600/OSX8000. See
