NOTE
This function is used in case an alarm occurs and when the OTU-
8000 can no longer reach the ONMS server via Ethernet.
The Modem Configuration is detected automatically but strings may be
modified if necessary.

The type of modem installed is displayed in the upper part of the
page.
NOTE
Under the modem box, the ONMS box displays the phone number
the OTU-8000 must call to reach the ONMS server.
This phone number is re initialized each time the ONMS is re-con-
nected to the OTU-8000.
Testing the modem
You must test the new modem configuration only once you have
applied the modification (Apply button):
1 Enter the phone number to use for the test in the Test Tel. Number
field.
2 Notch «Test with voice device» to use the modem with the voice
mode. By default, the modem is set to the data mode.

boxes about the test itself, the Chat log and the PPP log files.
