8 Click on A to validate the Remote Switch configuration.

Adding a Remote Optical Switch to the OTU-8000
1 In the Configuration menu of the OTU Web Interface, click on the
Remote Switch tab.
The page displays, if exists, the Remote Switch(es) that are already
linked to the OTU-8000.
2 In the Add Remote Switch box, enter the IP address of the Optical
Remote Switch to be added to the existing one(s).

3 Press N
EW
4 Click on OK in the Confirm switch addition... dialog box.
Once process is completed, the Remote Switch, with its IP address
and the switch numbers, is displayed in the Detected box.
The Registered box displays None.
