Installation of the OTU-8000 into the rack

Fixing the OTU into the rack

After the whole installation of the OTU-8000 and other options is
completed, refer to "Configuring the modem (GSM or PSTN option)" on
page 45 to configure the GSM option.
Check first, you have all the following elements:
– the 19'' brackets
– the milled or countersunk screws according to the rack used and
the presence or not of a door on the rack (see
on page 2).
– the brackets corresponding to the rack used
The OTU-8000 is delivered in standard with the brackets for a 19'' rack.
If you have ordered another size of brackets, for 21 or 23'' rack, the
corresponding brackets will be delivered with the OTU-8000.
NOTE
Use a POZI Screwdriver N°1 to fix the brackets for a 21'' or 23'' rack.
Use a POZI Screwdriver N°2 to fix the brackets for a 19'' rack.
To set the new bracket on the rack:
– Set the brackets for 19'', 21 or 23'' rack using the corresponding
screws (M6) and the rings delivered with the OTU-8000. Use a
POZI Screwdriver N°2.
