Once the process is completed, the Remote Switch turns to Regis-
tered Status and the message Switch Successfully Modified!
displays in green, on the upper left part of the screen.

In the remote switch web interface, check that in the window
Admin > Settings, the parameter OTU type is set to Remote
Switch (see page 57).
Removing a Remote Switch
To remove a Remote Switch:
1 Click on R under the IP Address of the corresponding
EMOVE
Remote Switch
2 Click on OK in the Confirm the removal... dialog box.
3 Once completed, the Remote Switch is deleted from the list, and
the message Switch Deleted! is displayed in green, on the upper
part of the screen.
In the Configuration menu, click on the Switch tab.
Just like for OTDR plug-ins, the page displays both:
– The configuration the OTU-8000 detected
– The configuration the OTU-8000 registered
