Possible cause
No voltage supply
No set point stipulated
No supply pressure available
Supply pressure too low
Consumers that use a lot of
air (> 1300 Nl/min) cause a large
drop in pressure in the device
Housing ventilation port is closed
Defective diaphragm in the
housing ventilation port
Base plate seal is missing or
damaged
Leaks between the
ED07 pressure regulator and
base plate
ED07 pressure regulator is not
leaktight
Pneumatic connections on the
base plate exchanged
Air exhaust port on the base plate
is closed

If malfunctions occur
Remedy
Connect the voltage supply
Check the polarization of the voltage
supply
Switch on system component
Stipulate a set point
Connect the supply pressure
Increase the supply pressure
Reduce air consumption
Use a device with a larger nominal
width (e.g. ED12)
Ensure that the housing ventilation
port is open
Exchange the
ED07 pressure regulator
Check the base plate seal and
exchange, if necessary
Tighten screws with 6 Nm torque
Exchange the
ED07 pressure regulator
Connect the pneumatics on the base
plate correctly (see "Connect the
base plate pneumatics" on page 62)
Open the air exhaust port and
connect a silencer or restricted
exhaust hose
