Use a pin vise and 1/16-inch (1.5mm) drill bit to drill the
holes in the wing for the scoop mounting screws. Use the
holes along the edge of the scoop as a guide for drilling
these holes.

Remove the scoop from the bottom of the wing. Use a #1
Phillips screwdriver to thread an M2 x 10 washer head self-
tapping screw into each of the holes drilled in the bottom of
the wing. Remove the screws before proceeding to the next
step.

Apply a few drops of thin CA into each of the holes to harden
the threads made by the screws. Use a paper towel to remove
any excess or spilled CA before it can cure. Allow the CA to
fully cure before proceeding.

Use medium grit sandpaper to roughen the edge of the
fl ange and cross brace that will contact the wing. Use a
paper towel and isopropyl alcohol to remove any dirt or oils
from the gluing surfaces.
