Check the door frames and dimensions of gross construction openings,
and insert underlying material between the masonry anchors and the wall.
Screw the frame together where it is not welded.
Fix mounting plate or adapter onto the holding element on the frame.
Position the frame in the opening and adjust appropriately.
Adjust the frame vertically and horizontally to the guide marking and
fix it in place.
Drill the holes for the wall plugs, insert approved wall plugs and fasten
the frame using the screws provided. Where a frame is being used with-
out a floor recess, it can be trimmed at the bottom.
Back fill the frame (with two-piece closed frame 2140B, the counterframe
does not need to be backfilled).
Hang the door leaf and adjust it.
Adjust hinges for accurate position.
Position thick rebate cover. Insert sealing profiled.
Fasten on handle and handle fittings.
Where applicable, assemble door closer.
For double-leaf doors only:
Assemble door sequence selector.
Finally, make functional check for
– automatic closing
– closing force
– correct position of the closer seal on three sides in the frame and in
the door leaf
– floor sealing
– lubrication of the lock latches
