• Unpack the equipment, placing the packing in the position indicated above.
• Remove all the accessories from the pallet and from inside the machine, and set them down
nearby.
• Place the aligner base in the desired position (see paragraph "Installation Clearances").
• Proceed to unpack the accessories.
• Remove the rear panel of the column.
• Installing the electrical connector panel
Install the electrical connector panel at the rear of the column (1, fig. 14). Connect electrical
connector panel to one of the HDD power cables leading out of the back of the PC and to the Hard
Lock device with a USB cable (G, F, fig. 5).
• Installing the remote control receiver (optional)
Install the remote control receiver board (2, fig. 3) at the rear of the column and connect the flat
cable to JIR1 picoflex connector of the electrical panel board (1, fig. 4).
• Installing the Hard Lock device (fig. 3a)
- Insert the tip of a pen into the hole at the side to open the SIM holder.
- Remove the wheel aligner SIM card (fig. 3b) from its punched backing card (keep the
backing card with the serial number for future queries) and insert in the SIM holder (fig. 3c),
with the gold contacts facing upward.
- Push the SIM holder in.
- Fix the Hard Lock device (1, fig. 3) onto the column with the relative fastener screws.
- Connect the 2 USB cables to the Hard Lock device passing through the hole provided:
connect one to an unused USB port on the PC; connect the other to the USB port on the
electrical connector panel (1, fig. 4) as shown in fig. 5.
• Remove the monitor from its packing (keep the packing materials for future transport).
• Fix the monitor (1, fig. 2) to the column using the provided support and pass the monitor cables
(power and signal) through the hole provided; then locking all with the screws supplied.
• Remove the computer from its packing (keep the packing materials for future transport).
Place it in the lower shelf (4, fig. 2) and pass the cables (power and signal) through the hole
provided.
REMARK: To position the computer adequately, fit its front part flush with the shelf.
• Unpack the keyboard (2, fig. 2) and the mouse. Connect the cables to the connectors at the
back of the PC (USB port) (D, fig. 5) .
• Unpack the printer; place it in the intermediate shelf (3, fig. 2) and pass the cables (power
and data) through the hole provided.
• Connect the cables to one of the available Shuko sockets (power) and to the computer
(data) as shown in fig. 5.
• Refit the aligner rear closing panel using the special key supplied.
• Connect the cables following the wiring diagram (Fig. 32) and the fig. 5; all plugs are marked
univocally on the corresponding PC socket.
REMARK: Insert the plug all the way down without excessive force and tighten the safety
screws wherever present.
• Insert the power supply cable in the corresponding plug (on the rear of the column) (2, fig. 4).
REMARK: Before plugging it, read the chapter on "Electrical Connections".
• Turn on the PC, then the monitor and the printer with the specific switches.
• Upgrade the aligner software, see the "Aligner software upgrade" chapter, and install any
optional kits as indicated in the "Installing additional functions" chapter.
