Retrofitting option boards

Start the Ecolab PC Setup program from the Start menu of Windows (

If you are using the demo version of Ecolab PC Setup, enter the user ID "Demo" and
confirm with "OK". (See Fig. 93.)

On the 'Versatronic' Setup Program, call the menu item "Device version" by double-
clicking. (See Fig. 94.)

Under "Select hardware" select the option "Custom Settings" and click "Next".

Under "Set device," click "Next".

In the "Configuration of the optional plug-in", set the ambient temperature according
to the prevailing conditions at the planned installation site:
n
For prevailing temperatures up to 40°C or 104°F, set "40°C/104°F".
n
For prevailing temperatures in the range of 40 to 50°C or 104 to 122°F set
"50°C / 122°F".

Here you can simply drag and drop the desired option boards (Fig. 95, 1)
symbolically into or from the corresponding slots (Fig. 95, 2).
To remove option boards from the slots, simply drag the board symbols out of their
slots out and leave them outside the slots.
In this case, for the bar graph "energy balance" (Fig. 95, 4) the warming of the
housing interior is expected. It takes into account the total heat output by the base
and power supply unit and the option board and the influence of preset ambient
temperature (Fig. 95, 3). The small vertical bar in this display (Fig. 95, 6) represents
the limit that must not be exceeded.
When the limit is exceeded, the colour of the pointer changes on the bar graph
(Fig. 95, 5) from black to red.

The installation of the set proposed option boards that is safe when the limit of the
energy balance has not been exceeded.
