10.2.5.3 Calibrating the temperature coefficients
Temperature coefficient
The calibration of the temperature coefficient is hidden on this device!
The temperature coefficient is a measure of the temperature dependence of the
electrolytic conductivity of a liquid. It compensates for the influence of temperature when
measuring the electrolytic conductivity. With a temperature-compensated conductivity
measurement, the conductivity reading is always relative to the fixed pre-set reference
temperature. The temperature coefficient is used to calculate the electrolytic conductivity
readings at the reference temperature, based on the current readings of conductivity and
the temperature of a liquid.
The reference temperature is set in the configuration of the individual Ci-analysis input.
Ä Chapter 10.4.3.5 'Analysis inputs configuration Cr / Ci' on page 158.

The temperature coefficient is determined on the basis of two measurements in a test
solution at different temperatures (reference and working temperature).
If you know the temperature coefficient of a measurement solution, you can
enter it yourself.
TK-curve (for non-linear temperature coefficient)
If you want to measure the conductivity for a liquid whose temperature coefficient changes
with temperature, you can use this method to determine five temperature coefficients for
five temperature intervals. The temperature coefficient curve is then fairly accurate.
While the operator controls the temperature values of the test solution to the values
queried from the device, the device determines the temperature coefficients for each
section. You need to install a temperature sensor for this purpose, which the device can
use to detect the temperature of the test solution.
