Device menu
1.
Start calibrating the temperature coefficient.
Device menu è Calibration è Select CR analysis input è Calibrate TC
2.
Clean the sensor and immerse it in the test sample or loop a simulation resistance
into the borehole of the probe.
Make sure that the relative cell constant is calibrated correctly
(use a test solution, if necessary).
3.
For temperature sensing
it is a prerequisite for the calibration presets and temperature compensation to be
specified. Bring the temperature of the test solution to the requested reference and
operating temperatures. The order is irrelevant.
The value is copied over automatically. (See Fig. 65.)
Without temperature readings
If no temperature compensation is specified in the calibration presets, you must
manually accept the value. First bring the temperature of the test solution to the
value of the reference temperature and confirm with "OK".
Then follow the same steps as with the working temperature.
4.
The system generates a summary log of the determined calibration values.
Acknowledge the log with "OK".
Failed calibrations are cancelled at this point and discarded.
5.
Select "Yes" to assume the determined calibration values and log the calibration.
Select "No" to discard them.
10.2.5
Ci calibration measurement (conductivity inductive)
The calibration of Ci sensors is done by measurements in test solutions with defined
electrolytic conductivity or by simulating a defined conductivity by looping an appropriate
simulation resistance in the borehole of the probe.
Since the conductivity of liquids is temperature-dependent, you must measure the
temperature at the measuring point. You can enter it manually or use a temperature
sensor.
Versatonic sets an automatic temperature compensation, so the current temperature is
automatically recorded during the calibration and offset.
To perform calibrations, you must be a registered user with the
corresponding user rights. See
on page 108.
Analysis inputs for inductive conductivity measurement (C) must undergo a
basic Ci setup when they are put into operation. Without a prior basic Ci
setup, calibration is not possible. See
on page 129.
