10.2.1.1 General procedure for calibrating
Real calibration (calibration with routines)
By calling one of the calibration routines of the device you are led through a process of
measurements and inputs. The calibration values are automatically determined and
stored. There are suitable calibration routines for all kinds of analysis sensor.
The individual calibration routines for the respective types of sensors are explained in
separate Sections.
See:
Ä Chapter 10.2.2 'Calibrating the pH measurement' on page 116
Ä Chapter 10.2.3 'Calibration ORP (redox) measurement' on page 119
Ä Chapter 10.2.4 'CR calibration measurement (conductivity, conductive)' on page 120
Ä Chapter 10.2.5 'Ci calibration measurement (conductivity inductive)' on page 124
Ä Chapter 10.2.6 'Calibrating universal inputs' on page 133
To perform calibration routines, the following requirements must be met:
n
You must be a registered user with the calibration rights.
Ä Chapter 10.1 'Login / logout' on page 108.
See
You must make sure that the Calibration presets of the analyses inputs and possibly
n
universal inputs are set correctly. For comments on the calibre presets, see the
Sections on the calibrations of the analyses sensors.
n
For Ci analysis inputs, note that the option board must have undergone a basic
balance in during commissioning. If this has not yet been carried out, this must be
made up before calibration. See
10.2.1.2 Calibration logbook
A separate logbook is kept for each analysis and universal input. The calibration logbook
stores the input's last 10 successful calibrations. Broken or faulty calibrations (calibration
values outside the permissible limits) are not stored in the log, these are logged in the
event list instead. Manual changes of calibration on the device are also documented.
The following data is recorded in the logbook:
n
Heading with the measuring input name and calibration method
n
Date and time
n
Reading
n
Calibration (evaluation of the calibration values on an actual calibration)
n
Determined or input calibration
Reference values used
n
n
Calibration type (real calibration / manual entry of calibration values)
Since this information does not fit into one screen line, the logbook entries are first listed
in abbreviated form with the date and calibration results.
Detailed information about the detailed view can be shown for each entry.
