10.2.5.4 Calibrating the TC curve
The calibration of the temperature coefficient is hidden on this device!
Fig. 69: Calibrating the TC curve

Current actual temperature
1.
Start calibrating the TC curve as you wish.

èTC curve
2.
Clean the sensor and immerse it in the test solution. Make sure that the relative cell
constant is calibrated correctly (if necessary, measure a sample in a test solution).
3.
One by one, bring the test solution to requested temperature.
Six temperatures are requested. (See Fig. 69.)
4.
The system generates a summary log of the determined calibration values.
Acknowledge the log with "OK".
A failed calibration can be aborted at this point and discarded.
5.
Select "Yes" to assume the determined calibration values and log the calibration.
Select "No" to discard them.
10.2.5.5 Basic Ci setup
When starting up, perform a basic Ci setup on analysis inputs for inductive conductivity
sensors. Perform a basic Ci setup in the following instances:
n
A new sensor or new Ci option board is first installed
n
Replacement of the sensor or a Ci-option board
n
A Ci option board is moved to another optional slot
n
Data loss due to failure of the backup by the device battery with the supply voltage
n
Device software is updated
After the basic setup, the measurement input can be calibrated. After calibrating the
measurement input is ready.
For the basic Ci setup, you need the Ecolab calibration adapter for
inductive conductivity sensors (ref. 255269)
