Explanation
Input source selection for flow
measurement
Binary input 1/2: Pulse frequency signals

Analogue input: An analogue signal is
defined in the configuration item "analogue
signal".
Naming the flow function

determining the flow rate pulse signals
such as vane sensors.

Duration of a counting section
The pulses counted divided by the time
base within a counting section give the
pulse frequency value. With it set to 0 s the
time base becomes 250 ms.
Ratio of pulse number to the flow rate
(pulses per litre)
See the flow sensor's fittings
documentation for the K factor (e.g. vane
sensors).
If the flow signal is transmitted via a
standard signal or interface (external
analogue inputs), note that the K-factor
also affects analogue values. For safe
handling of the flow by analogue signal, it
is recommended to map the flow value to
the standard signal and adjust the K-factor
to the value of 1.
Unit of the flow value
Custom unit:
In the respective measured values of the
measured flow, the value is multiplied in
litres per second displayed by the factor
from the "conversion factor" setting and the
unit is set to "name unit".
Only with "custom" as the "unit":
Conversion factor of the unit "l / s" for the
flow in the custom unit
Only with "custom" as the "unit": free
input option of a custom unit for the flow
