12 Interlinking with REGARD 7000
The REGARD 3000 can be connected to an existing REGARD 7000 as a satellite
system. The REGARD 3000 then functions as an additional Docking Station for the
REGARD 7000.
Please note the following points:
– If the REGARD 3000 is interlinked with a REGARD 7000, configuration can only
take place using the REGARD 7000 with a REGARD 7000 Dashboard or with
the REGARD Configuration Software in conjunction with a REGARD 7000 PC-
Software Key.
– The local alarm signal via the horn, light ring, main relay and pre-alarm relay
always relates exclusively to the signals of the REGARD 3000 local input
module.
– The local SSR and SFR always relate exclusively to the local Docking Station
and local modules.
– The Display Unit only displays the local channels and alarms of the
REGARD 3000.
– The local inputs for acknowledging and maintaining the REGARD 3000 only
have an influence on the local channels.
– The REGARD 3000 can respond to an alarm from the REGARD 7000 (e.g. relay
can trigger). But, the alarm from the REGARD 7000 is not displayed on the
REGARD 3000.
– The REGARD 3000 modules can communicate with the REGARD 7000
modules without restriction.
