2. Select Constant signal reason from the dropdown list.
3. Enter Constant signal minimum in the input field.

The properties and settings of the connected transmitter must be taken into
account when configuring the Special signals. If currents outside the defined
range are applied at the input, a signal fault is output.
For 2-wire transmitters, the power consumption must be taken into account when
setting the special signals. Typically, do not set any special signals under 2.5 mA.
The precise value depends on the transmitter type, length and cross-section of the
connection line (see instructions for use of the transmitter).
A sufficient distance between Constant signal minimum and Constant signal
maximum must be set (Dräger recommends: ≥0.2 mA).
To remove a Constant signal:
1. Select the check box of the Constant signal.
2. Select
REGARD 3000 does not support dynamic transmitter maintenance signals (e.g.
3 mA - 5 mA - 3 mA with a frequency of 1 Hz), but detects them and issues an error
for the relevant input channel. In this case, the connected transmitter must be
configured for static maintenance signal output.
8.5.4.7 Acknowledgement parameter menu
In this menu channels can be selected via which the current channel can be
acknowledged or reset.
Prerequisite:
– The REGARD 3000 is connected to a REGARD 7000.
– There is a Digital Input Module in the REGARD 7000.
The channels can always be acknowledged and reset via the Display Unit or via
the Digital Input inputs on the Docking Station .
To add a channel:
1. Select
 A list of channels is displayed depending on the channel filter setting.
2. Select and confirm the desired channels.
To remove a channel:
1. Select the check box of the channel. If necessary, enable multiple channels for
removal.
