Save or import configurations

This functions enables configuration changes to be saved to a USB stick and
imported and transferred at a later time.
To save a configuration:
1. Plug a USB stick into the USB port of the Display Unit.
2. Open configuration mode.
3. Select
 The function menu is displayed.
4. Select Save.
5. Follow the directions of the wizard.
To import a configuration:
1. Plug a USB stick into the USB port of the Display Unit.
2. Open configuration mode.
3. Select
 The function menu is displayed.
4. Select Import.
5. Follow the directions of the wizard.
If a configuration is imported to a second identical Docking Station, the wizard
displays a prompt to check the Docking Station to which the configuration is to be
imported.

Copying Port configuration

The Port configuration copy wizard can be used to copy a selected Port
configuration to any number of Ports of the same module type.
Requirements:
– Call the configuration mode. For further information see: "Open configuration
mode", page 147.
1. Select [Docking Station] > [module] and the [Port] to be copied.
2. Select
 The Port configuration copy wizard is displayed.
3. Select the checkboxes of the Ports to which you want to copy the configuration.
4. If applicable, select the Copy descriptions checkbox.
This function copies the parameter values for the channel tag, instrument name,
instrument part number, sensor name, and sensor part number.
5. Select
