10 Maintenance
REGARD 3000 is maintenance-free.
The alarm function (including the horn and light ring) and function of the SSR and
SFR must be checked during commissioning and then every 12 months.
The display function (screen test) must be checked when commissioning and then
every 12 months. For further information see: "Display Unit settings", page 147.

The check must be carried out by trained personnel. Attention must also be paid to
the maintenance intervals of the connected input and output elements.
10.1

Replacing module (same slot and same configuration)

For example, replace a faulty module with a new module of the same type in the
same slot.
A module can be replaced during operation.
1. Set all input and output channels to the Inhibit state.
2. Disable the alarm device connected to the SFR of the Docking Station.
3. Select the MUTE button to mute the horn.
4. Open configuration mode.
5. Save configuration.
