Assembly and installation

5.2.1

Mounting on the wall

The following steps describe the basic system setup:
1. Mount the Base Unit horizontally on the wall (level surface). A clearance of
30 cm must be present above and below to ensure adequate ventilation (see
assembly instructions for the Base Unit).
2. Remove the blind plugs on the Base Unit as defined in the system planning and
replace with cable glands. To ensure continued compliance with protection class
IP 65, make sure that the cable glands meet IP 65.

3. Wire the Terminal Blocks in line with the system planning without connecting the
power.

4. Insert modules as specified by the system design.
5. Place the Display Unit on the relevant holder on the Base Unit.
6. Stick the provided label with the part number and serial number of the Display
Unit to the side of the Base Unit (see the assembly instructions for the Display
