6. Exit configuration mode.
7. Release the two lock buttons of the module with a quarter turn.
8. If necessary, remove the retention clamp.
9. Remove module.
10.Insert new module of the same type and wait until the module starts
(communication LED flashes).
11. If necessary, insert a retention clamp.
12.Open configuration mode.
13.Import backup configuration.
CAUTION
Inconsistent configuration
If the configuration is inconsistent, it is no longer possible to guarantee that the
REGARD system can be operated safely.
► If a replacement is made using pre-configured modules, the imported
configuration must be transmitted.
14.Upload imported configuration.
15.If necessary, manually acknowledge latching system states.
16.Remove the Inhibit state from all channels.
17.Disable the MUTE button.
18.Check the function of the horn and light ring.

Adding a module

Add a new module to the system:
1. Set all input and output channels to the Inhibit state.
2. Disable the alarm device connected to the SFR of the Docking Station.
3. Select the MUTE button to mute the horn.
4. If necessary, remove the retention clamp.
5. Remove the Slotcover of the selected slot.
6. Wire the Terminal Block.
7. Insert and lock new module.
8. If necessary, insert a retention clamp.
9. Open configuration mode.
10.Configure system for the desired new functions.
11. Upload new configuration.
12.If necessary, manually acknowledge latching system states.
13.Remove the Inhibit state from all channels.
14.Disable the MUTE button.
15.Check the function of the horn and light ring.
