The fi gure shows mounting on the
BS 1/T belt section (EQ 1/T).
For the BS 1 belt section (EQ 1/
TE), the attachment kit can only be
mounted on the drive side.
The attachment kit components
accompanied by letters are shown
in Fig. 4 on page 17.
1. Remove the blanking plugs at
the drive head (outer side) and
return head (outer and inner
side).
2. On both the drive and return
head, screw two M4x10 (M)
fl ange head screws into the M4
thread from below to approx.
4 mm.
3. Insert a fl ange head screw
M5x12 (D) through the slotted
hole on the holding plate (A)
and into the rear shaft side (B)
and tighten it.
4. Place the toothed belt wheel
(C) on the shaft (B) and fasten
it with an M5x12 (D) fl ange
head screw.
5. Loosen the screw (D ) by 2
1
rotations. You need the play to
be able to place the connection
belt later.
