11 Cleaning and disinfection

Use the following cleaning and disinfectant
agents:
– FD 322 rapid surface disinfectant
– FD 333 rapid surface disinfectant
– FD 350 Disinfectant wipes
– FD 366 quick-acting disinfectant for sensitive
surfaces
NOTICE
The use of unsuitable agents and
methods can damage the unit and
accessories.
Only use the disinfectants and clean-

Dürr Dental�
Comply with the specifications con-

tained in the the operating instructions
of the disinfectants and cleaning
agents�
Wear safety gloves�
11.1 Image plate scanner
Unit surfaces
The unit surface must be cleaned and disinfect-
ed of any contamination or visible soiling�
NOTICE
Liquid can cause damage to the unit.
Do not spray the unit with cleaning

and disinfectant agents�
Make sure that liquid does not get in-
i
side the unit�
Remove any soiling with a soft, damp, lint-free
i
cloth�
Disinfect the surfaces using a disinfection
i
wipe� Alternatively, use a spray disinfectant on
a soft, lint-free cloth� Comply with the operat-
ing instructions for the disinfectant when do-
ing this�
Input unit
The input unit must be cleaned and disinfected
if there are indications of contamination or visi-
ble dirt�
Use the following cleaning and disinfecting
immersion disinfectants:
– ID 213 Instrument disinfectant
– ID 212
– ID 212 forte
