6.20 ADJUSTMENTT OF
THE REAR TAILGATE
IG-IZ
MOD.
The rear tailgate on the Inversa IG and IZ
has the following functions:
• Refining the soil at the same speed
of revolutions of the rotor and forward
speed.
• Levelling the soil horizontally.
The greatest refinement is obtained by
lowering the rear tailgate, while the refi-
nement is less raising the rear tailgate.
It is necessary just to rotate the crank (A)
(fig.56) in a way or the other for raising or
lowering the tailgate.
At the beginning, always set the machine
with raised tailgate, and then gradually
lowering the tailgate until the requested
working depth is reached.
Should this crumbling not be enough yet,
it will be
necessary to decrease the forward speed.
There is a limit that it cannot to be crossed
in the lowering the tailgate because it will
absorb more energy without improving
the work. You can also notice from your
driving position on the tractor. It is possible
to observe that the large amount of soil
moved by the rotor is returned in front
of the machine. In this scenario, the soil
could not be levelled properly and it is
necessary to raise the tailgate.

IG-IZ
CAPO MOD.
El capo trasero montado en la parte
posterior de IG e IZ tiene las siguientes
funciones:
• Refinar el terreno a la misma velocidad
de rotación del rotor y de avance.
• Nivelar el suelo horizontalmente.
El mayor refinamiento se logra bajando el
capó, elevandolo será menor.
Para esta operación es suficiente girar la
manivela (A) (Fig. 56) en una dirección u
otra para subir o bajar el capó.
Siempre comience a trabajar con el capó
levantado, ajuste la máquina para alcan-
zar la profundidad de trabajo deseada.
Baje el capó poco a poco hasta que note
que el refinamiento es el deseado.
Si el refinamiento aún no es suficiente,
se debera reducir la velocidad de avance
del tractor.
Existe un límite que no debe excederser
en el descenso del capó porque absor-
berá más energía sin mejorar el trabajo.
También puede notar desde su posición
de conducción en el tractor, observando
la gran cantidad de terreno movido, que el
rotor muestra por delante de la máquina el
terreno trabajado, pero puede no resultar
bien nivelado, por lo tanto, deberá colocar
el capó más alto.
