6.14 USE OF THE REAR

The rear bar is mounted alone on:
TOLAMA LG and ROTOPIK
KG
and has the following functions
(Fig. 50):
• Regulating the crumbling degree of the
soil, the number of revolutions of the
rotor and the driving speed remaining
constant.
• Horizontally levelling the soil.
The greatest refinement is obtained by
lowering the bar, while the refinement is
less raising the bar. The two lateral regu-
lators (A) serve to support the bar (B) for
which it is essential to maneuver both of
them in order to lower the bar, while to lift
the bar is sufficient to act on one regulator
and the other one can be positioned later.
ADJUSTMENT OF
THE BAR (B)
Always begin working with the bar comple-
tely lifted, position the machine, so as to
reach the desired working depth.
Gradually lower the bar using the crank (A)
until the soil before the roller becomes flat-
tened. This is normally the ideal working
position, even in soil clattered with grass
or residual substances.
If the soil is ploughed or free of residues,
the bar can be lowered by a few strokes,
in order to obtain an even finer degree of
crumbling.
Should this not be enough yet, it will be
necessary either to increase the number
of revolutions of the rotor or to decrease
the driving speed of tractor.

• Refinar el terreno a igualdad de régi-
men de rotación del rotor y velocidad
de adelanto.
• Nivelar horizontalmente el terreno.
La afinación mayor se consigue bajando la
barra, menor en cambio levantándola. Los
dos reguladores laterales (A) únicamente
sirven para sustentar la barra (B) porque
es indispensable maniobrarlos ambos
para hacer bajar la barra, mientras para
levantarla es suficiente actuar sobre un
regulador el otro también debe ser posi-
cionado sucesivamente.
REGISTRACIÓN DE LA
BARRA (B)
Iniciar a trabajar siempre con la barra
levantada, registrar la máquina para al-
canzar la profundidad de trabajo deseada.
Bajar un poco a la vez la barra usando los
dos reguladores (A) hasta notar la nive-
lación del terreno antes del rollo. Normal-
mente ésta es la posición de trabajo ideal
sobre terrenos particularmente sucios de
hierba o de restos.
En terrenos arados o limpios se puede
bajar ulteriormente la barra para acentuar
la afinación.
En caso de que la afinación no fuera
todavía suficiente se debe; o aumentar el
número de vueltas del rotor o disminuir la
velocidad de adelanto del tractor.
